Atkins Rail Ltd - We helped this major contractor to the London Underground transportation systems to assess the suitability of locations for Passenger Help Point (PHP) AFILS and, where magnetic noise or hidden metalwork prevented their use, provided them with the evidence and rationale to arrange for variations in their contract with their client. D.G.Edworthy Associates also assisted Atkins Rail in evaluating alternative designs of PHP AFILS antennae to assist their client in complying with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). We continue to provide consultancy to Atkins Rail for the provision of AFILS with LUL Passenger Help Points.
