Home D.G. Edworthy Associates are at the forefront of the sound and communications industry in a number of specialist audio engineering fields. Our team of engineering specialists led by Principal Consultant, Doug Edworthy, design and evaluate Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems, Public Address Systems and Voice Alarm Systems; and provide advice and consultancy on the many British and International standards that apply to this technology sector. We also present seminars on the design and evaluation of voice alarm (VA) systems, and we are in demand from users and suppliers to provide independent consultancy and training to organisations world-wide (for example, the New International Airport in Hong Kong). Using our working knowledge of the wide variety of British and International standards for emergency and fire voice-alarm systems, we also design and present seminars aimed at both user and technical levels. We champion the provision of facilities for hearing impaired people and provide survey, design and evaluation services for Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems (AFILS). As well as devising and running the very successful ISCE AFILS Workshops, we also design and present AFILS training courses for major user organisations.
